Bugs Bunny
Bugs Bunny has become synonymous with great animation. Star of more than 160 cartoon shorts, winner of countless popularity polls, internationally recognized "spokesbunny" for an animation studio, and brilliant entertainer for over 50 years - Incredible! It all began with a somewhat "sassy spirited" who was considerably more juvenile and frantic than the calm, cool, and composed Bugs of today. In fact, he wasn't Bugs Bunny" until 1939 when the character was reinvented with new animation, a new name, a new attitude and in 1940, a new voice. That's right ... Mel Blanc became the snappy voice of Bugs Bunny and spoke Bugs' Famous line, "What's up Doc," for the very first time. The rest, as they say, is history.
